“Star Wars” continues to prove its legendary worth when every demand for this movie always sets a high standard. The opening night for the “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” breaks the record in ticket sales while the scalpers continues to resell these passes on EBay amounting ten thousand dollars.
In just four hours last Tuesday, the first pre- sale of “Star Wars” garnered thirty thousand dollars in just four hours. Event Cinemas express how this movie replaced the record that is set by the avengers. There was obviously extreme anticipation for this film when it crashed several cinema website worldwide to break the ticket sales last Monday.
In three hundred ninety screens in United States, the film also broke IMAX’s records garnering $6.5 million the day after the pre sale began; ESPN also had an overwhelming boost when they put the trailer on screen during Monday night football. “The Dark Knight Rises”, “Avengers” and “Hunger games: Catching fire” (eight times) has been outpaced by this movie way too far according to IMAX Records, iDigitaltimes Reported. The group managing director of the Event Cinema David Sergeant said that they already expect “Star Wars” to break the record but the pacing of the movie since it started is quite remarkable.
