As the “Gilmore Girls” reunion was officially announced last year, fans are now all excited! The power cast of “Gilmore Girls”, will be meeting their fans this June 4 to 7, 2015 at the ATX Television Festival in Austin. Read on for more details.
As confirmed by TV Line, via Yahoo! News, lead stars Alexis Bledel (Rory) and Lauren Graham (Lorelei) will be joining the show’s reunion event. It was also rumored that some of the cast members will be making a “surprise appearance” as well.
Joining the pack of reunion panel include Kelly Bishop (Emily), Scott Paterson (Luke) and Jared Padalecki (Dean) as the attendance of six more actors have also been confirmed including John Cabrera (Brian), Yanic Truesdale (Michel), Sean Gunn (Kirk), Liz Torres (Miss Patty), Liza Weil (Paris) and Keiko Agena (Lane).
Will the bad boy ex-boyfriend of Rory join the upcoming reunion?
Milo Ventimiglia (Jesse) periodically appeared all throughout the show for seven years on air. It seems that if his schedule permits him – and he is excited about it – he will be joining the group again on the get together.
Unfortunately, in an interview with People, Ventimiglia revealed that he won’t be joining the “Gilmore Girls” reunion because of his busy schedule. He revealed that he just signed on a new movie that’s why his schedule would not be able to accommodate the event.
The actor admitted that, in his opinion, Jesse was really not the bad guy everyone in Star Hollow thought imagined him to be.
“He was a good guy, though! By the very end, he was a really good guy.”
The upcoming “Gilmore Girls” reunion will be the first time that fans will get to see the actors of the hit series since the finale in 2007.
