“Girl Meets World” Season 2 Episode 15 “Girl Meets Farkle” will air on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 8:30 pm on the Disney Channel. In this upcoming episode, Disney will be presenting a very special episode highlighting and educating families and children regarding neuro-diversity, and especially about those who have Asperger’s Syndrome or an Austism Spectrum Disorder. Also, the identity of Farkle Minkus’ (Corey Fogelmanis) mother, something that has long been wondered, will be revealed. After going on hiatus, Disney’s “Girl Meets World” is back with a very special episode. According to the official press release, that was released on TV by the Numbers, the upcoming episode “Girl Meets Farkle” will serve as educational and informative to viewers of all ages, as Disney hopes to present a character that has Asperger’s Syndrome, or that has an Autism Spectrum Disorder.
The character that will be struggling with this issue is none other than the intelligent and quirky Farkle Minkus (Corey Fogelmanis). However, he will not be alone in this struggle to understand himself more, as his family and friends will be supporting him the entire way.
In line with this, MTV has just recently announced that the mystery surrounding the identity of Farkle’s mother will finally be revealed in this upcoming episode.
According to the report, Farkle’s mother Jennifer Bassett, who, on “Boy Meets World,” tried to get Shawn Hunter (Rider Strong) to pick her and their relationship over Cory Matthews (Ben Savage).
The role of Jennifer will be reprised by Kristanna Loken.
Also, it was reported on TV by the Numbers and on Carter Matt, who released a promotional video of the upcoming episode, that Farkle will also be tackling a subject that is definitely out of his wheelhouse- romantic relationships.
Farkle, in the promotional video, asked Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya Hart (Sabrina Carpenter) for advice after he starts becoming closer to his Einstein Academy rival, Isadora Smackle (Cecilia Balagot).
