SNSD Leader Taeyeon released her titular track from her first-ever solo album on Sunday, Oct. 4. Soshi’s were not really expecting for the release to come out anytime sooner but to many fans’ surprise, the MV for her title track, “I” was released earlier than expected.
Taeyeon’s MV for her title track surely did not disappoint fans, as AllKpop reported that her first solo album is hitting one chart after another. According to the outlet, Taeyeon’s “I” topped the daily charts, expect for Monkey3, where her title track landed at the second spot.
“I” features Verbal Jint and has scored the top spot on Melon, Mnet, Naver, Genie and Bugs daily realtime charts. While Taeyeon has ultimately received love and support from Soshi’s in South Korea and all over the world, the SNSD leader recently received a heartfelt message from her fellow TaeTiSeo and Girls’ Generation member, Tiffany, Kpopstarz reported.
According to the outlet, Tiffany expressed her support for Taeyeon, whom she called her “best friend” via an Instagram post.
“As someone who shares the same passion and love for music, I couldn’t be more proud and excited for my best friend. Congratulations on reaching a life long dream and cheers to new beginnings. All my love is for you,” Tiffany wrote.
Fans gushed over Tiffany’s support for the SNSD leader with some referring to the nickname for Taeyeon and Tiffany, “Taeny.” Some also commented on how this should be on everyone’s friendship goals.
Taeyeon’s solo album titled, “I” will be released in online channels on Wednesday, Oct. 7.
