It seems like November 2015 is slowly turning into a big month for Korean girl pop idol group Girls Generation, as not only are they busy preparing for an upcoming concert, but have also recently appeared in a watch campaign, and garnered a spot in the recently concluded 2015 MelOn Music Awards. Endorsing products and being the face of big named and prestigious brands is part and parcel with being an entertainer.
In the case of Korean girl pop idol group Girls Generation, one of the big names that they endorse is Casio’s Baby-G line of watches, made specifically for women, which they have been endorsing since 2012.
Just recently, according to All K Pop, Baby-G has released several pictures from a recent photo shoot that the girl group did for their 2015 Fall and Winter collection. The ad featured New York City’s famous Flatiron District in the background.
The pictures showed the girls posing with a car, and wearing more urban and casual clothes, which is in line with the collection’s concept of being “tough” but “cool” while maintaining a “modern” and “chic” look.
Aside from this, the girls are busy preparing for their upcoming fourth concert, which, according to All K Pop, is entitled “Girls’ Generation 4th Tour- Phantasia-in Seoul”, which will be held on Nov. 21 and 22, 2015 at the Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Stadium.
This concert, which will be choreographed by Rino Nakasone, who has also worked with big names in the business, such as Britney Spears, has been a long time coming. It was especially as the girls’ last concert was all the way back in 2013.
They have also had just released a new concert photo, which features the eight girls, in black and white, against a green and white backdrop design.
Because of this, fans of the girl group are definitely looking forward to seeing their favorite girls on stage once again.
However, this isn’t the only great news that has been happening to the group, as K Pop Starz has learned that Girls’ Generation managed to land in the Top 10 Award Category in the recently concluded 2015 MelOn Music Awards, which is one of the biggest music awards ceremonies in Korea.
Sharing the same award with the girls are other famous and notable groups and artists such as SHINee, Zion. T, SISTAR and Big Bang.
