What could be more exciting that two musical powerhouses sharing the stage together? Well yes, Beyoncé and Ed Sheeran paired up to share the Global Citizen Festival stage together.

Saturday night witnessed the reinstate of the Global Citizen Festival, a yearly event in New York City’s Central Park, which focuses “to eradicate utmost poverty and inequality from all over the world.”

Streamed live on YouTube, MSNBC and along with iHeartRadio and Tidal, the concert obtained a plethora of buzz especially owing to Beyoncé‘s immensely anticipated staging, whilst cladded in her sexy outfit, stunning dance moves, which was lined up with many other surprises worth remembrance,  reports Eonline.

Beyoncé undoubtedly cracked it once again. While she staged in front of 60,000 she revealed, she feels extremely honored to be on the platform with such talented benevolent people, “Global Citizens”.


Just in the manner she started her performance at the Made In America Festival, Beyoncé kick started with her sensual remix “Crazy in Love.” In love with popping up surprises, she pulled out a surprise guest, Ed Sheeran to an acoustic performance of “Drunk In Love.”

Succeeding Beyoncé performance, First Lady, Michelle Obama stepped on the podium to inaugurate a new campaign, 62 Million Girls, aiming to educate more girl child all over the world.

“I am honored to follow a woman whom I admire and adore, someone who believes as passionately as I do, the boundless promise of girls worldwide,” the First Lady said, reports Billboard.

Meanwhile, Leonardo DiCaprio also made an advent convincing the crowd that environs and the fight for poverty-stricken are innately related, which can no more be disregarded, while Global Citizen Festival, part of Global Poverty Project  backed by UN, is a true moment of action.
