The Good Wife” Season 6 will be back on CBS on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014, at 10:00 p.m. Creators Robert and Michelle King revealed to TV Line what the viewers can expect when the legal drama opens this fall. Read on to learn more about this scoop.

Just a brief recap of the previous season, it ended with Peter (Chris Noth not endorsing Finn (Matthew Goode), so Finn  dropped out in running as State Attorney. Peter was instead eyeing Diane (Christine Baranski). However, Diane turned down the offer to run. The finale ended with Eli (Allan Cumming) asking Alicia (Julianna Margulies) if she would take the post.

According to TV Line, Season 6 opens with Eli convincing our dear Alicia to run as State Attorney.

“The comedy and intrigue between the two of them [Alicia and Eli] is really unparalleled in Season 6,” revealed Michelle to TV Line.

The showrunners promised about Finn’s appearance throughout the series, as Finn will explore his feelings towards Alicia running for the post.

Meanwhile, Cary (Matt Czuchry) will worry about his position at Florrick-Agos, especially with Diane coming on board. Diane fired Cary twice, and who knows, she might just do it again. We also find Diane and Dean Levine-Wilkins (Taye Diggs) adjusting into their not-so-swanky offices.

In an interview with E! Online, the creators addressed whether this season will be as traumatic as the previous one, with another cast dying or leaving like Will Gardner (Josh Charles). Robert emphasized that they are already working on some traumatic scenes.

“I don’t think we have it in us, another surprise like Josh dying,” added Robert in the E! Online interview.

In the bonus spoiler, the intern that we all met in Season 5 is still in the show! What do you think her presence would bring? Let us know by posting your comments below.
