“Gotham” has released another trailer that revealed more details about the show and the life of Gordon. Fans are eagerly anticipating the prequel to “Batman,” and they are excited to learn more as the show nears its premiere date. Read on for the new trailer of “Gotham.”
The trailer follows the life of Gordon, played by Ben McKenzie, as he goes to inspect a crime scene. We also saw snippets of Gotham’s criminals, such as Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett) Smith and Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor).
In the background, we can hear Gordon’s voice introducing himself: “This is my city. I’ve come back because I care what’s happening to it.”
In all of the “Batman” movies, we are aware how crucial Gordon’s role is, and he is always at the thick of things even if Batman is out there, saving Gotham City. The whole “saving” thing will not be complete without the presence and the help of Gordon.
We also saw Gordon finding a newspaper story about him that focuses on his detective position at the police department. Scribbled across the newspaper is “Welcome Home” in bright red letters.
With the anticipation about this new DC Comics TV adaptation, there are still speculations regarding the show. It is said that there will be glimpses of The Joker, which fans would definitely love to see. Who do you think will play the Joker’s role? However, this remains a rumor for no one from DC Comics or from the team of “Gotham” has confirmed this news.
