After a month-long hiatus, “Gotham” Season 1 is back and it was the most perfect comeback ever with gore and violence that are both enough to captivate its audience once again. And who will complain about a show being too violent when the show returned after the season 5 premiere of “Game of Thrones?” Read below for the full recap of Episode 19 “Beasts of Prey.”

Let’s start of with Fish Mooney who was still in the hands of the brutal Dr. Dulmacher. In this episode, she managed to escape after a few attempts. Her first try was to test the security of the place by intentionally setting off its alarm but the guards knew it was her and instead of getting punished by the Doctor, she narrowly escaped this. Second, she was able to get to the troublesome inmates to serve as decoys while she and the other prisoners escape. Fish managed to steal a helicopter while the inmates got shot down by the guards.

Of course, this episode wouldn’t be complete without a new villain. This episode’s villain is the Ogre, a serial killer and of course he had Jim Gordon on his trail. The Ogre has been preying on women for years now and his style is kidnapping them then killing them. His purpose? To find true love. Yeah, pretty twisted, right? Here comes the violence and the brutality when we saw snippets of how the Ogre operates.

The gore doesn’t end there because Penguin chopped off some fingers to get himself the bar that he wants where he plans to kill Sal Maroni. Oh, and Sal Maroni is now aware of Penguin’s betrayal, which is why Penguin is plotting to kill him first.

It just keeps getting worse (in a gruesome way) than that when Selina Kyle killed a guy, specifically Reggie. Bruce is still in the search for the person who wants to take him down and he and Selina got to Reggie, Alfred’s attacker who gave them a name – Bunderslaw. He wouldn’t have been killed if he didn’t try to warn Bunderslaw that Bruce knows so Selina had no choice but to toss him out of the window.
