‘Gotham’ Season 2 To Bring More New Villains

Alas, “Gotham” fans there are going to be new villains coming to the city in Season 2! The second season of the TV series intends to bring the Joker and other new villains as well just like how Gotham is supposed to be: infested with mobs and villains. Read below for some juicy spoilers.

According to Christian Post, “Gotham” creator Bruno Heller gave few updates about the upcoming season.

“We’re going to find out how the hell Jerome, the proto-Joker we met earlier in this season, connects with the Joker as people known him. That’s the big focus of the beginning of the second season. We’re going to tell the story of how the Joker came to be.” Heller said.

Aside from that, we’ll see more of Dr. Leslie Thompkins. It means that her relationship with Gordon will maybe come into full bloom. There is also a possible appearance of Dr. Victor Fries who is popularly known as Mr. Freeze.

Viewers will get to see the development of The Riddler as well and expect to see Clayface and Madhatter, too!

As for Bruce Wayne, the second season allow him to discover more of his father’s secrets.

The production of “Gotham” Season 2 will begin on June 22, 2015. Its premiere date hasn’t been announced yet.

Fish Mooney has bid farewell to the show and her loss is felt but with each loss comes a gain, and in this case, it looks like the show will gain more villains on their upcoming season!
