As November 2015 steadily approaches, every television series is beginning to gear up for the November sweeps, which usually give fans and viewers various game changers, regardless of whether it will be going off air for a while in order to make room for some of the midseason shows. In the case of “Fox’s” “Gotham,” fans and viewers can expect this November to be an interesting one for the show, not just because the succeeding episodes will be jampacked with action, but also because it seems as if the show will be introducing another iconic Batman villain to the show, in the form of Mr. Freeze. WARNING: This article will contain spoilers for the upcoming episodes, and for how Mr. Freeze will be manifested in the series. Read on only to learn more about Mr. Freeze’s first appearance, and about the upcoming November sweeps episodes.
November is a very busy month for television, and an exciting one for fans and viewers, as television producers and writers usually turn up the heat, a little thanks to the November sweeps, and “Gotham” is no exception to this rule.
TV Line has previewed a very interesting set of upcoming episodes that will be airing this November, which include more villains, more action, and an interesting end to the Detective James “Jim” Gordon (Ben McKenzie), Dr. Leslie Tompkins (Morena Baccarin) and Barbara Kean (Erin Richards) love triangle or storyline.
The culmination of the love triangle will happen in the season’s November 9 episode, entitled “Tonight’s the Night,” the episode right after a very Penguin-centric episode, entitled “Mommy’s Little Monster,” which will air on November 2, 2015, which will feature the fury of Robin Lord Taylor’s Oswald Cobblepot or Penguin, as he goes on the warpath to save his mother from the clutches of Theo Galavan (James Frain), which is where fans left Penguin at the end of the most recent episode.
The November 16 episode, “A Bitter Pill to Swallow,” according to executive producer John Stephens, is the most “Kill Bill” episode of them all, which means that fans will have to expect non-stop action and shoot outs everywhere.
Stephens himself stepped up to the plate to write the November 23 episode, “The Son of Gotham,” in which Gordon will finally realize that Galavan is up to no good.
This episode will also be a very important one for David Mazouz’s young Bruce Wayne, as he will show, much to everyone’s surprise, a very different side to him that, hopefully, will be a stepping stone in the young Bruce’s way to becoming the Caped Crusader.
However, the November 30 episode will be one that fans of Batman and of the show will be talking about, as Mr. Freeze will finally make his “Gotham” debut.
The role of Mr. Freeze or Victor Fries, according to TV Line, will be portrayed by “House of Cards’” Nathan Darrow.
According to the report, his back story will be further explored in the twelfth and thirteenth episodes of the season.

According to the description, Victor will be a cryogenics engineer, who, upon learning that his wife is terminally ill, tries to do everything in his power to save her, including freezing her in a cryogenic state, which will then ultimately cause him to become the iconic Mr. Freeze, which was popularized in the old Batman movies by none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger.
