“Graceland” Season 3 Episode 9 “Hand of Glory” aired last Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015, at 10:00 p.m. on USA Network. In this episode, secrets and lies got in the way of pulling off the perfect plan that would allow DEA Paige Arkin (Serinda Swan) to finally disappear form the Sarkissian’s radar, while solidifying FBI Agent Paul Briggs (Daniel Sunjata) with the Sarkissians and Ari Adamian (Rhys Coiro) as the rightful heir apparent to the Sarkissian line. Meanwhile, ICE Agent Dale “DJ” Jakes (Brandon Jay McLaren), under FBI Agent Catherine “Charlie” de Marco’s (Vanessa Ferlito) supervision, goes undercover as a money launderer working for ATF Informant Germaine Marsden (Hal Ozsan). Read on to learn more about this episode.

The episode began with FBI Agent Paul Briggs (Daniel Sunjata) telling Ari Adamian (Rhys Coiro) not to kill FBI Special Agent in Charge Sean Logan (Lawrence Gilliard) yet. He might still prove to be useful in finding out what the FBI knew about the Sarkissians, which, in turn, would allow the Sarkissians to see that Ari, and not Toros Berberian (Val Lauren). He was going to be initiated the following day as Martun Sarkissian’s (Peter Stormare) heir apparent, deserved to be Martun’s right-hand man

Later that morning, FBI Mike Warren (Aaron Tveit), now more suspicious than ever regarding Briggs’ actions, warned DEA Agent Paige Arkin (Serinda Swan) and FBI Agent Johnny Tuturro (Manny Montana) about what Briggs had done. It was before Briggs himself came in and confessed to having kidnapped Logan.

He then asked for help and played a tape which recorded Logan saying that he was going to do whatever it took to solidify Briggs’s cover, as he wanted Martun. Mike, however, didn’t buy it, and continued to be suspicious of Briggs. It was even though he agreed to help out in the plan by staking out Toros and Paige at the church where Toros was going to get his tattoos that would initiate him into the higher ranks of the Armenian mob.

Inside the church, Toros opened up to Paige, He told her that he would forever be loyal to the Sarkissians as Martun had helped him and his mother out when his mother was being beaten up by his father, and told her that no one ever considered him as a potential heir to the Sarkissian throne.

Outside, Mike’s suspicions gnawed at him. After sharing it with Johnny, the two decided to leave Paige, and head over to the warehouse where Logan was being kept. They then decided to wait for a back- up team before entering the warehouse.

Inside, Ari began to torture Logan by pouring acid on him. It caused him to give up Paige. Ari then told his uncle, who stopped Martun from heading to the church.

Paige, after being warned by Briggs that her cover had been blown, was seen by Toros running away after escaping from the church’s bathroom.

Meanwhile, Mike and Johnny decided to split up after hearing gunshots from inside the warehouse, and after seeing Ari leave in his car.

However, when Mike entered, he discovered that an incensed Logan was still alive. Meanwhile, Paige was now vulnerable to any attack from Toros, as she had been left unguarded.

Johnny, who was on Ari’s tail, then joined up with Briggs and Mike, and the three rushed home, only to find Paige standing in the living room, covered in Toros’ blood.

It turned out that Toros had followed her home and tried to strangle her. It was after he didn’t believe in the excuses that she was giving out to explain why she had left. Because of that, she had stabbed him to death with the razor she had  used earlier to shave his arms in preparation for the ceremony.

While this went on, under the supervision of FBI Agent Catherine “Charlie” de Marco (Vanessa Ferlito), ICE Agent Dale “DJ” Jakes (Brandon Jay McLaren) went undercover as a money launderer working for Germaine Marsden (Val Lauren). They could find a way to still get him without compromising the investigations that Germaine was helping the ATF out with.

This plan, succeeded well, as Jakes soon became trusted by Germaine.
