The episode picked off from where it left off in “Graceland” Season 3 Episode 2 “Chester Cheeto,” which aired on July 2, 2015. FBI Agent Paul Briggs (Daniel Sunjata) bumped into Layla Sarkissian’s (Maryam Cne) car, grabbed her bag. He made it seem like a robbery so that he could get Colby Moore’s (Evan Jones) cell phone number, as Colby, a retired undercover FBI agent, had been the last undercover agent to go undercover before him.
The next day, FBI Agent Mike Warren (Aaron Tveit) discovered that Gang Task Force Detective Sid Markham (Carmine Giovinazzo) had been killed. It caused all of them to agree that it was time to bring Carlito Solano (Erik Valdez) in, much to FBI Agent Johnny Tuturro’s (Manny Montana) discomfort.
However, during the raid, at the plane drop, DEA Agent Paige Arkin (Serinda Swan) and Mike soon discovered that Carlito had known that they were coming as the dropped crate contained chickens. It caused Mike to lose focus, as he began to count how many they were. Because of this, he hadn’t been aware that Paige had screamed at him and had shot a man who had begun to shoot at him.
Meanwhile, Briggs managed to track down Colby Moore, who reluctantly decided to help Briggs out so that they would finally be rid of Ari Adamian (Rhys Coiro).
In Florida, FBI Catherine “Charlie” DeMarco (Vanessa Ferlito) was nowhere closer in locating Reggie, a dealer who both Amber (Brit Morgan) and Germaine Marsden (Russ Bain) knew. After driving around Miami, Amber managed to remember that Reggie usually got his drugs from a doctor who operated out of Little Havana, whom Charlie and the Bureau could track down.
Later that day, Paige noticed that something was off with Mike, who snuck out in the middle of the night. He blackmailed a dealer so that he could get the pills the he had grown addicted to.
Meanwhile, Johnny discovered that ICE Agent Dale “DJ” Jakes (Brandon Jay McLaren) had followed him to the dock, where Johnny was, as he was supposed to leave for Mexico with a boat full of cocaine. DJ then ended up helping him, after discovering that Johnny had been working for Carlito so that Lucia Solano (Jamie Gray Hyder) wouldn’t get hurt. Later, Johnny came clean to DJ about everything. He admitted that he wasn’t Briggs, and was in desperate need of his help.
Back at Graceland, after Briggs and Colby finalized their plans, Paige told Briggs, who still hadn’t forgiven Paige for what she had done to Mike, what had happened during the raid, which caused Briggs to talk to Mike. It turned out that Mike was looking for a case in the hopes of discovering why he had been sent back. The clues, according to him, lay in what he had seen when he had been dead- his house, forty-seven red birds, and a grandfather clock with the time 10:10.
Back in Florida, after Charlie and Amber unsuccessfully talked to a doctor who supplied drugs. They were picked up by State Trooper Cash Windgate (Tom Schanley), who brought them to a shack somewhere off the road. They were about to kill and torture the two girls when Reggie, whose name was really Rodney Windgate (Adam Thayer), recognized Amber and saved them. Afterwards, Cash agreed to make a deal with them so that they could sell wholesale products in Southern California.
Back at Graceland, Briggs roped everyone into helping him enact his plan and asked for twenty-four hours of their time.
That night, Briggs took Ari to a bar. After drinking a bit, Briggs took off. However, Ari woke up the next day with his car smashed, and with blood all over his tank top, which prompted him to call for Briggs.
