Can you imagine Rick and Morty in “Gravity Falls?” Or the other way around? Well, a crossover seems possible for Rick, Morty and Dipper, Mabel and Grunkle Stan!

Surprisingly, the creator of “Gravity Falls” Alex Hirsch lend his voice for the Adult Swim series “Rick and Morty and the creator of the latter, Justin Roiland is the voice behind Blendin. Are you mind-blown right now? Not only that, fans have also noticed that there are several hidden references between the shows such as the Bill Cipher image in a particular “Rick and Morty” episode.

Don’t worry because Hirsch has addressed this issue to Entertainment Weekly, “There was a time when Justin and I were both working in the same tiny office for the Disney Channel. We both dreamed one day of having our own weird TV shows, and we would talk about ways in which we should childishly abuse this power.”

“For some reason, the universe has blessed us with our mad wishes, and it occurred to us – let’s start doing things that nobody else does, that maybe you’re not supposed to do. We started putting little easter eggs in our shows that sort of connected the two. Our motivation for that is primary to freak people out and blow their minds. The impression of a grand brilliant design is probably more something that the fans have invented,” Hirsch said.

Wait, there’s more. Hirsch did admit that they thought about making a crossover but so far, these little things that connect their shows together are enough and provides the perfect balance. However, it looks like both creators are not closing their doors to that possibility. Perhaps, in the near future?

The Season 2 finale of “Gravity Falls” will air on Nov. 23, 2015, while “Rick and Morty” will return for its third season in 2016.
