“Grey’s Anatomy” season 12 will feature Ellen Pompeo’s character, Meredith Grey battling with Alzheimers? And what is this issue about the former cast member Katherine Heigl being worried about the series’ possibility of surviving because of Patrick Dempsey character, Derek Shepherd’s death.
Shonda Rhimes, the show’s creator has previously revealed that “Grey’s Anatomy” will be entering an unchartered territory following Shepherd’s death and Dempsey’s axing. This caused the fans to worry about Grey and speculate that the latter will still be haunted by her husband’s heartbreaking death and this could be the reason of her downfall.
With her husband’s recent death, everyone’s eyes are on Grey. Spoilers revealed that poor Grey may discover painful truth about the disease that was passed on to her by her deceased mother, which will cause her death this upcoming season’s series.
This speculation about the death of Pompeo’s character got stronger when Christian Today posted an article about the latter’s contract that will expire after season 12. Fans are a bit immune about this kind of story flow since series creator Rhimes is known for killing off their beloved characters in the most unpredictable way, and if the rumors are true, Pompeo’s character will surely be one of Rhimes victims.
On the other hand, different entertainment news site reported that the former cast member of “Grey’s Anatomy,” Heigl is willing to have a comeback to the show as Dr. Izzie Stevens, but she later denied. Although it would be a great favor for fans, Heigl stated that starring to any Rhimes’ show will never happen.
Though she is no longer a part of the series, this didn’t stop her from wishing for the show’s success because she knows from the beginning that people around the world are supporting the show wholeheartedly.
Meanwhile, “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 12 will soon be knocking on our televisions this September on ABC.
