It has been confirmed that “Y&R” actor Scott Elrod will be part of “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 12. The actor is set to charm audience with his role in the ABC show as a medical practitioner. Read the complete story to know more details.
“Grey’s Anatomy” revolves around the lives of surgical interns and doctors, and how they manage their personal lives. The 40-year-old Elrod would be cast in the role of a doctor; if not he would be seen playing the role of an intern in Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital; indeed, the speculations are high. No official announcement has yet been made regarding when would the actor appear on “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 12, reports Soap Shows. Meanwhile, Elrod continues to act in “Y& R.”
“Grey’s Anatomy” is created by Shonda Rhimes and it is not the first time Elrod is working with Rhimes. He has worked with her before in “How to Get Away with Murder.” Rhimes is executive producer of the ABC’s show and Elrod had made a guest appearance in it.
According to Design Trend, in an interview Elrod has discussed about how it feels to work on two different platforms- a primetime show and a soap opera.
Elrod said, “I can’t believe how quick everything runs behind the scenes on Y&R.” He added, “On ‘How To Get Away With Murder,’ I was on set all day but they still hadn’t shot my five pages. I was like, Really?”
It has been learnt that season 12 would air only on Feb. 11, 2016, so viewers have to wait to finally see him in the show.
