After a chaotic wedding for its finale, NBC’s “Grimm” cast and producers tease the attendees at the San Diego Comic-Con 2014 with what is to come for the fourth season of Grimm. Read on for more details about the story.
At the San Diego Comic-Con 2014, producers and cast of NBC’s fantasy police drama, “Grimm,” made time to talk to fans for what is in store for the show for Season 4.
The Season 3 finale of “Grimm” left viewers with a nail-biting batch of cliffhangers, with Portland Police homicide detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) losing his Grimm powers, Captain Renard being shot by a rogue FBI agent and Monroe and Rosalee’s wedding turning into a Grimm-Wesen all-out brawl. So how does Season 4 continue to where the show left off?
According to TV Line, with Nick losing his powers, the detective will now rely on Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni), who is basically forced to become his “seeing-eye Grimm.” Nick’s lack of powers will not only be his problem as it remains to be seen whether Juliette will forgive him after his affair with Adalind.
As for the Captain, he will be returning back in Season 4, but as to how he survived is still unknown. Then there’s Wu, who, according to actor Reggie Lee, has some “shirted rage coming this season,” adding at his character is on the verge of putting all the pieces together.
Another character to be expected is the nefarious Gedächtnis Esser or known as Octo-Man. The Octo-Man can attach his tentacles to the head of his victim and steal all memories, leaving them either dead or with severe amnesia.
David Greenwalt described this creature as a “ruthless and sophisticated — a high-tech spy who is involved with some highly placed military intelligence personnel.”
The Octo-Man will claim many victims. His specific target is the feisty new Grimm in town, Trubel.
“Grimm” is a supernatural occult detective drama on NBC which is inspired by various characters and stories from Grimms’ fairy tales. The show stars David Giuntoli as the lead, Nick Burkhardt, joined by Russell Hornsby, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz, Reggie Lee, Bree Turner and Claire Coffee. The series is produced by Universal Media Studios and Hazy Mills Productions. Season 4 premieres on Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, at 9:00 p.m. on NBC.
