“Grimm” Season 5 releases new updates and synopsis for the series upcoming premiere on Oct. 30, 2015. How will the storyline flow this time? Read on to know the things you should remember for the show’s newest season.
The fifth season of “Grimm” is said to be the series most exciting part. It will be different from what the viewers witnessed from the previous episodes. It will be darker and darker and darker.. and some unexpected twist may happen!
From what the show ended, Nick Burkhardt’s girlfriend, Juliette, died in his arms when she was killed by Jacqueline Toboni’s character, Trubel, in an attempt to save Nick life.
Though the unexpected cliffhanger of the series left everyone by surprise, many Grimmsters are in favor of the twist, saying that it just made the show more interesting as ever especially now that we know Nick is having a baby with Adalind.
Moving on, Realty Today reported that “Grimm” Season 5 will not have a time jump as it will premiere from where the show ended.
Other than that, Latino Post revealed that Juliette will still be part of the show. Fans can still see some Nick-Juliette moments in the future episodes of “Grimm,” but all were shot in flashbacks as the show’s creators confirmed that Juliette is definitely out of Nick’s life.
Moreover, the new released synopsis states that in the upcoming episodes of “Grimm,” viewers will witness how will Nick deal with the death his mother and girlfriend which will lead him to decide to forget his duty as a detective officer.
Adding on, because of Nick’s sudden change, this will affect his relationship with his friends and co-workers. Reports indicated that his new goal in life will complicate things with his partner, Hank. Monroe, on the other hand, will help Nick to go back on his track even though he knows Nick has already set his plan.
Furthermore, we also saw at the end of Season 4 that Agent Chavez (Elizabeth Rodriguez) came back in the series, and some speculations indicated that it has something to with her and Trubel’s secret deal.
Meanwhile, when it comes to Nick’s new love interest, the showrunners and even the cast did not give any confirmation whether Nick and Adalind will develop feelings to each other since they will both have to co-parent their newborn son.
But, in an interview, the show’s executive producer, Jim Kouf quoted that viewers will see Nick and Adalind work out their relationship for their child’s protection. Kouf also added that the baby (half-grimm, half-Zauberbiest) will have an important role in their relationship.
In the upcoming season, “Grimm” will also show Monroe and Rosalee’s marriage life complications as they deal with marital issues while Renard’s character will be dealing with political opportunity.
On the other hand, there will be two new characters in the show. Carlson Young of “Scream” will play as Selena Golias. She is a survivor of an attack who’s been forced to hide because of an incident that made the Wesen “king” target her.
Meanwhile, Madaline Brewer from “Orange Is The New Black” will make a guest appearance in Episodes 6 and 7 of the show’s next season. She will portray the character of Billie Trump, a lizard-like Wesen [Skalengeck], “a fierce lieutenant in an up-and-coming Wesen street gang.”
“Grimm” Season 5 premieres on Friday on NBC.
