Two more months and “Grimm” will be knocking on your doors again, but before anything else, Movie News Guide will give you the latest updates and spoilers about your favorite series.
“Grimm” Season 5 is set to have its premiere on October 30 and its creators and cast revealed more spoilers for the NBC’s original American procedural fantasy TV drama series! Read on for more details.
Recently, the 41-year-old actor, Russell Hornsby revealed some information about his character, Hank Griffin’s relationship with his partner and pal, Nick Burkhardt.
In his interview at the 2015 Comic-Con, Hornsby said that in Season 5, there will be tension between Nick and Hank, as Nick deals with the loss of his loved ones. This will make Nick decide to do his own “grimm thing” which could complicate things between him and Hank.
Adding on, Latin Post reported that Nick may become more of a risk taker, which could be one of the reasons why they would have tension in the future.
Meanwhile, Hornsby expressed his opinion about it and it seems like he’s not against the idea. According to the actor, there will be more emotional connection, and he hopes that there’s more conflict between Nick and Hank.
On the other hand, there are still hopes that Bitsie Tulloch’s character, Juliette, will still be a part of the series even though she was killed by Trubel in the last season’s finale. Fans are still expressing their speculations about what Juliette’s character could do to make the series more interesting.
But, it seems like “Grimm” Season 5 creators had already made up their mind, as TV.com reported that when “Grimm” returns, the first thing they will see is Juliette in a coffin.
Show boss and co-creator, David Greenwalt confirmed that anything could happen in Season 5, but not with Juliette’s return—she already met her end and that’s it! Notably, fans will still see Juliette but she will only come back in flashbacks more likely.
Moreover, when it comes to Adalind and Nick’s relationship, Master Herald quoted Jim Kouf, one of the three executive producers of the series, stating that viewers will see the two working out with their relationship and also dealing with co-parenting with their newborn child.
Kouf added that the baby has an important role in Adalind and Nick’s life as he will bring changes to their relationship. They need to come together for their child’s sake and protect him from the possible harm that could happen in the future.
On the other hand, Monroe and Rosalee will face a marital problem while Sean Renard’s character will be dealing with “political opportunity.”
Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Carlson Young who played as Brooke Maddox in “Scream” was tapped to be the newest character in the fifth season of “Grimm.”
Young will play a recurring role in the NBC TV series. She will portray Selena Golias, a survivor of an attack who’s been forced to hide because of an incident that made the Wesen “king” target her.
“Grimm” Season 5 will not be having any time jump and will premiere at the end of October.
