“Ground Floor” Season 2 Episode 2 “Baked & Toasted” will air on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014, at 10:00 p.m. on TBS. Brody’s been doing really well at work, hoping to impress Mansfield, but some guys at the ground floor aren’t too happy with this. Before we get into the details, let's first go over what happened in the previous episode.
In “Unforgiven” (air date: Dec. 9, 2014), Brody (Skylar Astin) and Jenny (Briga Heelan) have returned to work after their Paris holiday, but unknown to his girlfriend, Brody had no more office to return to. She only found out that he was fired after she met with Mansfield (John C. McGinley) to give him souvenirs from their trip.
Brody begged for his job back, but Mansfield was no longer interested in having him. Besides, he’s already got a replacement in Lindsay (Emily Heller). It seemed the big boss’ mind was set, and there was nothing Brody can do about it anymore. Tough luck turning down that Hong Kong promotion, huh?
Meantime, Harvard (Rory Scovel) was interviewing potential staff members for the ground floor office as he fired all but one (Derrick) while Jenny was away. When Brody learned of this, he immediately decided to take a job at the ground floor, if only to show Mansfield that he’s willing to start from the bottom in order to get his old job back. This actually pleased Mansfield, but he did not let Brody know of this yet. He’s going to let this play out some more and see how far Brody would have learned his lesson.
Spoiler Alert: “Ground Floor” Season 2 Episode 2 “Baked & Toasted” will air on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014, at 10:00 p.m. on TBS.
In this upcoming episode, Brody’s efforts to prove to his former boss that he can work his way back to the top is starting to get noticed. Only, it’s the wrong people who will be noticing this. Derrick and Harvard, who are both working alongside Brody and see how efficient he is, are both going to get worried that Brody may soon put them out of a job. So the two come up with a plan to slow down Brody’s system. But will it work against someone who is determined to impress the guy at the top?
Meanwhile, Jenny finally meets the new girl Lindsay and realizes that she knows her from high school. However, Lindsay’s memories of Jenny will paint her in a different light. Will these two be able to forget the past, patch and work it out?
