“Ground Floor” Season 2 Episode 6 “Love and Basketball” will air on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, at 10:00 p.m. on TBS. It’s the annual basketball tournament at work, but Brody is going to go up against his girlfriend Jenny. What’s going to happen to these two? Find out in the details below. But before that, let’s check back to the episode last week.
In “Mano-a-Mansfield” (air date: Jan. 6, 2015), Brody (Skylar Astin) reported to his new office. He was pretty psyched about joining McCabe’s young company as the vibe was different from his old office. It was so relaxing, and there’s even a masseuse on duty whenever the financial agents become too stressed out. But when Brody learned that McCabe wants him to take down his former boss’ company, suddenly, working for this new office didn’t sound so promising.
So, he told Mansfield (John C. McGinley) upfront about how his new boss’ plans on ruining his company. Mansfield downplayed this. But then, Brody convinced him that this was no empty threat. McCabe has someone Mansfield doesn’t have — it’s Brody — and he knows a lot about Remington Trust.
Mansfield saw that perhaps this was a ploy for him to give Brody his old job back, and so he offered this to him. Brody, on the other hand, accepted the offer. Why should he not? He’s always been loyal to Mansfield. The two hug it out and settled their differences.
Meanwhile, after “breaking up” with Jenny, Harvard (Rory Scovel) signed up on a dating app, thanks to Derrick’s (James Earl) prodding. But Harvard hasn’t gotten any good dates on it. Until someone who claimed to be a Nigerian princess became the object of Harvard’s obsession. Jenny had to slowly guide her friend about being careful with online dates as this princess was clearly duping Harvard. Someday, he will meet the woman of his dreams; he should not give up.
Spoiler Alert: “Ground Floor” Season 2 Episode 6 “Love and Basketball” will air on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, at 10:00 p.m. on TBS.
In this upcoming episode, now that Brody is back at Remington Trust, they have a better chance at the annual basketball tournament within the company. He’s very excited about playing, as is Threepeat (Rene Gube). Jenny is also quite excited, as she always has a love for basketball and in fact, applied for basketball scholarship back in college. She didn’t get this though, and now she thinks she needs to prove something.
Jenny signs up for the ground floor team, which means that the game will not just be about top floor vs. ground floor, but it will also be about boyfriend vs. girlfriend.
In the B-side of this episode, Harvard goes on a date with Lindsay, which will be arranged by Derrick. The latter actually tricks Harvard into this date, and so now, he has to learn to remember what dating is like. He hardly has any idea now. Will this blossom into another top floor and ground floor romance?
The episode is written by Laura Moran, with Phil Lews as the director.
