“Ground Floor” Season 2 Episode 4 “The Break-ups” will air on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014, at 10:00 p.m. on TBS. Someone has been poaching Mansfield's staff, while Jenny has to “break-up” with Harvard. Before we get into the details, let’s take a quick step back into the last episode.
In “Space Invaders” (air date: Dec. 23, 2015), Brody (Skylar Astin) received his latest paycheck and decided to downsize his lifestyle. While he’s enjoying how laid-back it is to work on the ground floor, he has to learn to stretch his dollars to live on such a small pay. He thought that moving in with Jenny (Briga Heelan) would be alright. But Brody didn’t ask his girlfriend first; he just packed his bags and settled there.
Jenny was surprised by Brody’s decision and got even more freaked out when he formally asked her to move in. She wasn’t ready for such a commitment. Overhearing this relationship problem, Mansfield could not help but give Brody a piece of advice advice, although this was disguised as a metaphorical conversation with Lindsay (Emily Heller). Brody got the hint and realized his mistake. Moving in is too premature in their relationship for now.
Meanwhile, Threepeat asked Jenny’s help to hook him up with the ladies as he hasn’t had a decent date for so long. It was a quick and easy task for her.
Harvard and Derrick, on the other hand, challenged Brody to learn to live off their meager pay. By the end of the episode, Brody actually won by $1, so Harvard has to streak naked on the top floor as his penalty for losing the challenge.
Spoiler Alert: “Ground Floor” Season 2 Episode 4 “The Break-ups” will air on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014, at 10:00 p.m. on TBS.
Another company has been rustling the staff at Remington Trust. The top guys are transferring companies to work with Mansfield’s adversary (guest star Brent Morin). Brody thinks that since Mansfield is losing people, his old boss may finally consider rehiring him to his old job. But Mansfield still won’t budge. He makes it clear to Brody to never expect things will change between them.
Meanwhile, Threepeat is feeling a bit insecure and concerned that the rival company hasn’t attempted to poach him at all. Is he such a bad financial guy that no one else wants him?
In another storyline, Jenny will be forced to “break-up” with Harvard. He’s been into her for so long, but they all know that this crush would never amount to anything else. Derrick thinks Harvard needs to pursue other women, such as Lindsay. So if Jenny will “break-up” with him, Harvard can finally move on.
The episode is written by Cindy Caponera, with Jodi Hahn as the director.
