“Guardians of the Galaxy 2” is still almost two years before its release date but as early as now, it is seen as one of the most anticipated film for 2017. Marvel will be releasing the movie for the public. Meanwhile, Zoe Saldana shared in an online post about how she is preparing for the role, Gamora. Read On!
According to Entertainment Weekly, she posted a picture on Twitter of a portion of the procedure how her make-up for the green-skinned Gamora is done. Her face and neck is totally covered with a paste-like green material to be the base of the facial casts. This is included in the final look for the prosthetics to come up with the character’s appearance.

Mr David White, an expert in special effects makeup design, said in an interview before with Allure about the detailed process of doing the Gamora makeup. He elaborated, “Once the prosthetics were on, the skin around them was topped with a M.A.C. yellow primer and a Makeup Inkz primer. Once dry, a green M.A.C. base was applied. Three more layers of green were then airbrushed on, including makeup from Skin Illustrator and an Aqua mix highlight.” This will definitely takes hours of before the smooth completion of the entire process.
ScreenRant recounted this distinct character wherein she was named as the “deadliest woman in the whole galaxy.” She was the last member of the Zen-Whoberis race that was wiped out by the villain Badoon. She went on with her life through the help of Thanos who treated her like his own daughter. Through him, she learned all the skills and abilities needed to protect herself and fight back against the enemy, hence, she was named that way.
“Guardians of the Galaxy 2” will hit the theaters on May 5, 2017.
