‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2:’ Hulk Will Most Definitely Not Be A Part Of The Movie

He disappeared in the end of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” in a private jet and took off for some remote location. What are the chances he ended up or ends up in some other known yet unfamiliar situation or location? Fans had this really extraordinary yet crazy theory about how their raging monster, Hulk, would end up meeting the Guardians of the Galaxy in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.” Director of the movie James Gunn addressed this crazy theory and ended this once and for all.

According to Cinema Blend, the director-screenwriter answered the question in a very straightforward fashion on Twitter. He tweeted that there is zero chance that fans will see Hulk in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2.”

These Hulk teaming up with or joining the Guardians rumors have been going on for a while now. There was the theory where Hulk would be jetted off to space after having done considerable amount of destruction so that he can cool off his anger and would somehow stumble upon Star-Lord’s way thus hinting at a team up between the Hulk and the Guardians. There was also a rumor which suggested that this team up would eventually set up an adaptation of the “Planet Hulk” storyline, but that rumor has also been shot down too.

James Gunn had previously mentioned that Peter Quill is the only character from Earth he intends to keep on the team for time being as there’s more of the character’s story left to be told.

According to Comicbook.com, James once stated that he feels great relief in saying that there’s no Planet Hulk movie that will take place and there never was one. He would not want the Hulk to team up with the Guardians of the Galaxy any time soon. Well, with this issue being cleared up, we now know that Hulk is not the character we should be expecting in the upcoming “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” when it releases on 5th May 2017.
