“Guardians of the Galaxy” was a comic book series, initially that was a bit away from mainstream, but with the mega success of the movie, it attracted everyone’s attention. Following the success of the movie, it seems that Marvel wants to divert fans’ attention back to their comic books and following that they have released the first look of their “Guardians of the Galaxy” spin-off comic “Guardians of Infinity,” which will be released soon.
According to Cinema Blend, this new “Guardians of the Galaxy” spin-off series will feature all the Guardian characters from the “Guardians 3000” comic book series to the latest team that we saw in the movie. The motive of the new comic book series is to present a combination of all the versions of Guardians that have existed till now. One of the major highlights of the series will be fans’ favorite character Rocket Raccoon along with Groot and Drax, the Destroyer who can already be seen gracing the first look.
Talking about how the characters from “Guardians 3000” will tie into the current batch of Guardians, it is being said that while on a mission Rocket, Groot and Drax will apparently fall in trouble because they will go all out to handle some issue, which will be way beyond their capacity and that’s when Guardians 3000 will step in to help them out.
Apart from the amalgamation of these two teams, the comic book will also be introducing a new team called “Guardians 1000” as the first issue will hit the stands in December.
Comicbook.com added that Guardians fan favorite Dan Abnett is writing the series and the art featured is by Carlo Barberi. The media outlet also reported that the comic series would be featuring three versions of the “Guardians of the Galaxy,” which will team up for one big space adventure. Fans surely would eagerly wait for the first issue and expect the madness that will follow when all the characters unite.
