“Guardians of the Galaxy” sequel “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” which is more than a year away from release has been garnering attention ever since it was hinted that a sequel is in works. With curiosities rising and fans asking questions, ranging from new additions in the movie’s cast to who Peter Quill’s father is, comes a new update regarding the movie that could possibly tell where the Guardians will go this time around.
According to Vine Report, Chris Pratt was in tears when he recently sat down with the director to hear the pitch for the second installment. Fans must be curious to know what the plot for “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” is, however, the actor refused to provide further information. He simply said that director James Gunn had remarkable ideas for the sequel and that he could not wait to start shooting. He also mentioned that Marvel also liked what Gunn had in mind for the sequel. He added that he did not really make any suggestions with respect to the movie.
Meanwhile, James Gunn shared that “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” will only have a few characters because he really wants people to see these character’s backstories in order for fans get to know them better. Amongst speculations that an original character from the “Guardians of the Galaxy” will not be returning for this one, he also spoke about introducing a new character in the movie. To sum it all up, James said that this movie has a very moving script and would have an emotional impact on people.
When Chris was asked if “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” were to be in a cross-over situation, which superhero would he like to collaborate with? He replied that he would really want to work with the Hulk perhaps teaching him how to walk and would love a battle with Captain America played by Chris Evans.
