Guinness World Record Holder Joins ‘AHS: Freak Show’

American Horror Story (AHS) :Freakshow” has added a world record holder to its growing cast members. Read on to learn more about the latest update on “AHS: Freak Show.”

According to New York Daily News, Jyoti Amge is an 20-year old Indian woman, who has been named the world’s smallest woman by The Guinness Book of World Records. She is set to join the fourth season of “AHS: Freak Show.”

Ryan Murphy, the creator of the show, announced the wonderful news by tweeting a photo of Amge and Lange together. He captioned, “Jessica and our newest cast member Jyoti Amge… the world’s smallest woman.” said Murphy.

Amge is only over 2 ft. tall and she is known to be the “world’s shortest living woman” in 2011 by Guinness. She was previously seen in “Body Shock: Two Foot High Teen” and in “Bigg Boss 6.” Amge was diagnosed with a medical condition called achondrosplasia, a growth condition.

She will be joining Lange, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe and Frances Conroy. The fourth season of the show brings in new cast members as well such as Patti LaBelle, Michael Chiklis and Wes Bentley. A full-star cast is coming soon and it’s going to be amazing!

“American Horror Story: Freak Show” is set in Florida and will revolve around the last American freak show in the 1950s.
