Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton brought their romance on “The Voice!” Read on!
According to E! News, “The Voice” Monday episode not only marked the show’s first live act as it also became Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s first ever appearance on the competition since they revealed their relationship.
Fans of both singers were anticipating to have a glimpse of the new couple’s sweet moment, however, sad to say—there was none! Stefani and Shelton kept their personal lives out of their work.
The new couple kept it pretty professional when they both seated at their respective red chairs, though there were some minimal moments of flirting, the two still kept their feelings out of the public’s curiosity.
On the other hand, People reported that there were times where Stefani and Shelton team up against Adam Levine.
“Team Gwen is whippin’ the crap out of Team Adam tonight,” Shelton said during “The Voice.”
He then went on by saying, “It’s fun to see Gwen whip the crap out of Adam tonight. It makes me so happy.”
Moreover, Shelton simply flirted at Stefani by making a comment to Korin Bukowski’s new look and comparing it to Craig Wayne Boyd’s makeover that helped Team Blake to dominate the Season 7.
The 39-year-old “Sangria” singer pointed out how Stefani’s contestant lost over his singer. “I think the last time you cut somebody’s hair on the show, Gwen… they won! I ended up with the person.”
In his interview with Ryan Seacrest on “On Air With Ryan Seacrest,” the Maroon 5 frontman made a simple message for Shelton and Stefani.
Perez Hilton blog quoted Levine’s message, “They’re my friends. Gwen and I have really bonded lately. She’s just the coolest, most wonderful person ever and people don’t really realize that they are humans and they have problems just like everybody else. I love my friends and I support my friends through everything. I’ve been actually really enjoying getting to know Gwen better in the past two months.”
Other than Levine, Christina Aguilera also expressed her support for Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton by saying that the couple “deserve happiness” after all they’ve been through. The singer also pointed out that both singer’s are great people, and whatever makes them happy, Aguilera will surely be there to support them.
