In “Halt and Catch Fire” Season 2, Episode 3 “The Way In” it gave us viewers a lot of satisfaction. Why? Read below for the full recap.

Joe and Sarah invited Gordon, Donna and even Cameron over for dinner. However, Cameron didn’t come but she was present via phone call but she was really too shocked to speak. Shock because Joe has changed a lot. Meeting the new Joe was also a surprise for Gordon and Donna. In fact, that’s why they came over for dinner because they want to see Joe and how he’s been.

Sara, on the other hand, notice that Joe has changed and even caught a glimpse of the old Joe. Gordon felt that he’s more successful than the new Joe. It made him happy and he also likes Sara instead of Cameron. Joe declared that relationships make everything worth it and somehow, Gordon bought it. Donna and Gordan was also shocked to know that Joe and Sara are now engaged.

In other news, Gordon loaded his program Sonaris into Mutiny’s network and it destroyed it. Cameron was furious and thinks that Gordon did it intentionally. She suffered a panic attack. Thanks to Tom who was there on her side who eased her anxiety.

Jacob Wheeler accepted Joe’s proposal of a new data management department. When it was approved, Joe hesitated because he was afraid that he might destroy it if he builds something new. He did falter but in the end, he went on with it. Joe realized that the mainframe servers are being used 8 hours a day. It was also possible that he can sell its unused power for a profit and by that, we know that the roller coaster ride is going to start again.
