Previously on “Hannibal” (“Mukozuke” Season 2 Episode 5 air date: March 28, 2014), Beverly Katz (Hettienne Park) was found dead. Her body was found in the observatory. When Jack arrived, Freddie Lounds (Lara Jean Chorostecki) advised him not to go inside as the victim, as Freddie put it, “one of yours.” He ignored it and went in. He found the vivisected body of Beverly. Her parts were literally put out in the open. Will (Hugh Dancy) had to see Beverly. He told Jack that Beverly has found the Chesapeake Ripper.
Meanwhile, Brian Zeller (Aaron Abrams) and Jimmy Price (Scott Thompson), Beverly’s co-workers, discovered that Beverly’s kidneys were replaced by James Gray’s. The agents concluded that if they found Beverly’s kidneys, they will surely find out who killed her.
Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) was busy treating Jack’s wife for her attempted suicide via morphine overdosage.
Freddie interviewed Will in the asylum. Will expressed his intention on connecting with his previous admirer, the one who killed the judge and the bailiff while he was on trial. He enlisted Freddie’s help to contact his admirer through her website. Will would like to solicit information to the killer about Hannibal. Alana (Caroline Dhavernas) read Freddie’s blog and was suspicious of Will’s intention. Dr. Gideon confirmed that suspicion as he overheard Will and Freddie talking.
Unfortunately, Jack and Alana was a little late. Hannibal almost strangled.
