“Hannibal” Season 2 Episode 7 “Yakimono” will air on Friday, April 11, 2014, at 11:00 p.m. on NBC. Miriam Lass is the key to the Chesapeake Ripper’s identity. However, can we trust her memory? Read on to find out more about it including spoilers and a brief recap of the last episode.

Previously on “Hannibal” (“Futamono” Season 2 Episode 6 air date: April 4, 2014), was it just a coincidence that whenever someone was killed, Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) throws a party? FBI Special Agent Will Graham (Hugh Dancy), in an attempt to prove that Hannibal is the cannibalistic killer, turned vengeful. He was trying to prove that Hannibal is indeed the Chesapeake Ripper.

Jack (Laurence Fishburne) could not just swallow that Hannibal is the killer. But it does not mean that he would not give it a shot. He confronted Will about his attempt to have Hannibal killed. In turn, Will explained to Jack that why was it that whenever someone was killed, Hannibal throws a party?

Meanwhile, the city councilman was seen in the parking lot, except that this time, he was dead. His body was intertwined with a tree. It served as a trunk with his arms connected to the branches. Awful sight! His organs were gone, except for the lungs. Zeller (Aaron Abrams) and Price (Scott Thompson), after examining the body, identified drowning as the cause of death.

The party was held… Jack came but told Hannibal that he could not stay long but would gladly take some food home. Jack gave Zeller and Price the food sample to have it tested for human meat. The results came, and it was an animal meat.

After the party, Hannibal and Alana (Caroline Dhavernas) hooked up. Hannibal left Alana’s side without her knowing it. We can assume she had been drugged. Then, Hannibal showed up in Abel’s (Eddie Izzard) hospital bed. Before we know it, Abel was replaced by the dead body of the hospital security guard hanging from the ceiling with a fishing line.

Jack suspected that Hannibal had something to do with Abel’s disappearance, so he went into his house to ask him a few questions. Alana, having slept with Hannibal that night, testified that Hannibal was with her.

The most interesting part was when Hannibal prepared a roast meal to serve to Abel. Then, that scene showed Abel with a missing leg.  Guess what meat was served to Abel?!

According to the episode preview from Spoilers Guide, Miriam Lass (Anna Chlumsky), the missing agent, is the key to the Chesapeake Ripper’s identity. However, the team cannot rely on her memory. In the previous episode, Jack found her in an abandoned building. Two years ago, Miriam went missing in search of the Ripper.

Moreover, Will Graham will be released in the asylum as the evidence found at the place where Miriam was rescued acquits him from any association with the Ripper. This leads to Will getting back on track with the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) for a wild Ripper hunt.

As Miriam and Will compare notes, Jack’s suspicion against Hannibal is becoming evident.

And that’s it for the “Hannibal” spoilers about Season 2 Episode 7 “Yakimono.” It will air on Friday, April 11, 2014, at 10:00 p.m. Watch it on NBC. Stay tuned for more news about “Hannibal” including spoilers and episode recaps.
