Harry Potter spin-off titled, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is going to be a reality now as the shooting for the movie has already been started, converting the Leavesden Studios into a wizarding world once again. Read on to know more details.
Shooting for the “Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them” is underway, with its producers Lionel Wigram, David Heyman and Steve Kloves. While David Yates is directing the movie, JK Rowling has written the screenplay. Yates has been associated with each part of the movie since “The Order Of The Phoenix.”
Newt Scamander will be the lead role in the movie being played by Eddie Redmayne, a magizoologist who will be on a mission to document peculiar creatures of the magical world. And during his trip to New York, he comes in contact with many characters, including the character played by Colin Farrell, wizard Graves.
He will meet Ezra Miller as Credence; Dan Fogler as Jacob; Faith Wood-Blagrove as Modesty; Samantha Morton as Mary Lou; Katherine Waterston as Tina; Alison Sudol as sister of Tina, Queenie; and Jenn Murray as Chastity.
It has been reported that “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is planned as a trilogy.
IGN reported that the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” trilogy are to be set in New York 70 years ago before the Harry Potter series. Rowling also clarified in an MTV report that “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is neither a prequel nor a sequel to the Harry Potter series, “but an extension of the wizarding world.”
This news has no doubt excited the fans, but it will be amazing to see what more Rowling still has to give her diehard fans. And can the movie quench the thirst of the true Harry Potter fans?
“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is expected to hit the big screen worldwide on November 18, 2016.
