One Direction’s famed Hiatus hasn’t even begun yet and there is a rumor floating around that band member, Harry Styles, has written four songs.
According to Hollywood Life, Harry Styles has registered four songs with American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers which is often refered to as ASCAP. A study of ASCAP documents have revealed that Harry Styles has registered with them four songs that credit him as a co-writer. He has written the four songs in collaboration with producer Gary Go and the Irish Rock Band Snow Patrol’s guitarist Johnny McDaid. The names of the four tracks are, “5378 Miles,” “Coco,” “Endlessly,” and “Already Home.” Harry is also listed as the performer on the tracks so fans have already begun to speculate that he might be prepping up to release a solo album.
Inquisitr speculates that Gary Go and Johnny McDaid may have been helping Harry to launch a solo career and this might have been going on surreptitiously in the past few months. MTV UK had reported that Harry had already registered two songs with ASCAP in the early months of 2015. The two songs, “This is the Start” and “Already Here” were also written in collaboration with Gary Go and Johnny McDaid. Inquisitr speculates that Harry might eventually join the ranks of Beyonce, Drake, and U2 by unexpectedly dropping an album when the fans least expect it.
During an interview with Alan Carr: Chatty Man, Harry had candidly confessed to the idea that he and his band mates may work on solo material when their band, One Direction, is on the hiatus. However, he had also assured fans that the hiatus will not turn into a full-blown split; he had assured them that the original members of One Direction will eventually reform the band and play music together again.
