Harry Styles Just Cut His Hair? #OhNoHarrysHair Trending

Harry Styles has been threatening to cut his hair for some time now. Back in November, right during their Royal Variety Performance in the UK and before the current hiatus being sorely endured by One Direction fans the world over, Harry told the UK’s Prince Harry that he might have his hair chop off only for a good cause. “For charity,” Harry Styles apparently said. Now even a casual remark such as that already sent many 1D fans into having seizure fits, because, hey, it’s harry Styles’ hair we’re talking about. If there’s one thing that could quickly turn girls’ knickers in a twist, that would be those lovely locks.

Fast-forward to now. As in today. Harry has hit the headlines and the interwebs simply because a terrible hashtag began trending on the Twittervere: #OhNoHarrysHair. When once the hashtag surfaced, it quickly spread like bush fire in the middle of a ten-year drought in wherever in the world is really dry and has a lot of grass.

But as eventually found out by Seventeen through extensive, frantic research (read: hitting Twitter), it was all just a joke concocted by utterly board One Direction fans. Yes, Harry has not cut his hair. Styles’ hair is safely in place, still waiting for that “good cause” as promised to the sixth pretender to the throne of England. Fans can still ogle Harry Styles, complete with trademark hair, although when that would be, no one as yet knows.

1D is currently on hiatus. Since their last performance back in November, the guys are on a break, and the fans are getting all stir crazy for lack of any One Direction news and hungry for fresh sightings. The hashtag #OhNoHarrysHair may be an utterly heartbreaking and cruel prank, concocted by 1D fans themselves, but look at the Brightside: it’s a joke, people. Get over yourselves!
