Budding celebrity couples don’t always get it easy. There are a lot of things that could influence their relationship (or future relationship), e.g. their respective working schedules or fan protests over their pairing. And Harry Styles and Nadine Leopold aren’t exactly exempted to that.
According to a source for Heat magazine, as cited by SugarScape, One Direction’s Harry Styles and his latest rumoured girlfriend Nadine Leopold have just split, after few months of being romantically linked. As if that wasn’t enough of a surprise, it turns out that it was actually Leopold who dumped Styles, and it was apparently because of work.
Heat magazine’s source said that Leopold is quite interested to be friends with Styles; however being the career-focused person that she is, she doesn’t want to be involved in a relationship for now because she wants to veer her attention more on her work.
As for Styles, Leopold dumping him because of her career was a pretty direct and hard blow for someone who reportedly hasn’t been dumped before. All this time, the two have apparently been constantly communicating with each other despite their busy schedules and even planned to spend the summer together. But it seems long distance relationships with their career on line don’t just work for Leopold. Thus, she decided that they just stick as friends.
Though they never even got around to confirm the rumours of them dating, Styles and Leopold have been linked as a couple since they were seen hanging out together, and of them reportedly doing some PDA during Styles’ 21st birthday last month. Since then, reports have been on the rise about them getting serious and of them even planning to move in together.
Hmm, talk about a letdown for those hopeful of a Harry Styles-Nadine Leopold pair-up, huh?
