For some television shows, such as CBS’ “Hawaii Five-0,” the hiatus is almost over, as January signals the beginning of the second half of the currently running season. This means that fans of the crime drama set in the wonderful islands of Hawaii won’t have to wait too long to return to the members of the Five-0 Task Force. WARNING: This article contains spoilers for “Hawaii Five-0” Season 6 Episode 11 “Kuleana (One’s Personal Sense of Responsibility).”
The sixth season winter finale of CBS’ “Hawaii Five-0” had a bittersweet ending, as they basked in the triumph of solving the case at hand, but were also sad as they supported Officer Kono Kalakaua (Grace Park) in her time of need, as she watched her husband, Adam Noshimuri (Ian Anthony Dale) begin his eighteen month sentence.
Thankfully, the Five-0 Task Force will be greeting the New Year with a happier tone, and with the spotlight on a character who is not part of the Task Force.
According to the report on TV Line, the eleventh episode of the sixth season, “Kuleana (One’s Personal Sense of Responsibility),” will shift the viewer’s focus on Kamekona (Taylor Wily).
According to the episode, description that was provided, it seems like Kamekona’s criminal past will be returning with a vengeance, and the Task Force will try their best to help their good friend out.
However, they will be doing all this without the help of Lieutenant Commander Steve McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) and Detective Danny “Danno” Williams (Scott Caan), as they are forced to go on a couple’s retreat together.
One can safely assume that this is part of the therapy sessions the two have been attending since the previous season.
Over the course of the two seasons, not much attention has been given to this, but sometimes, Danny mentions it, and actually mentions that they do sometimes have homework for their sessions.
In this case, based on the pictures that were recently released on Spoiler TV, the couple’s retreat will be pretty eventful.
In the pictures, aside from sitting around in a circle with a group and their respective partners, it was shown that the pair will be participating in a three legged race.
However, instead of winning, Steve will find himself playing nurse to Danny, after his foot gets injured. In the pictures, Danny is seen propping up his injured foot on a chair, with a plastic bag full of ice water on it.
