Helena Bonham Carter, “The King’s Speech” star, ended her 13 years relationship with famous gothic director Tim Burton citing reasons of differences between them. The couple had an amicable separation and continue to be friends. Read on to find out more about Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton.
According to People, Carter said that she has been through so much that she can even write a thesis about what happens when a relationship is broken, but eventually we grow out of it and learn to live with it. She further mentioned that there still remains something precious between them. The actress also denied the rumors of living separately when they were together.
According to a close aide, it is said that Carter still feels a special bond between the two and says that they have had a successful relationship. She believes that it is not mandatory to be forever together, sometimes it is vice versa.
The 57-year-old Burton first met Carter while filming “Planet of the Apes” in 2001. Burton and Carter later worked together in movies like “Big Fish,” “Corpse Bride,” “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and “Alice in Wonderland,” which were directed by Burton himself. They have two children together- son Billy and daughter Nell who are being co-parented by the former couple after separation in December 2014.

Helena Bonham Carter recently made headline for her role of fairy godmother in “Cinderella.” Her upcoming movies include “Suffragette,” which is scheduled to release in October this year and “Alice Through the Looking Glass” will be out in 2016.
