The fifth and final season of “Hell on Wheels” is upon us but before we lament that fact, there are new series regulars that are coming our way! Read on for more details.

According to Deadline, Reg Rogers (“The Americans”) and Tzi Ma (“24) have just signed on to be series regulars this upcoming season of the hit AMC TV series.

Rogers will play the role of James Strobridge, the “tough-as-nails construction superintended for the Central Pacific Road.” To add to his cranky nature, he only has one eye and lives with his wife and six adopted children in a train car. Ma will play the role of Tao from Guangdong in Southern China. He is said to be “the head for the Chinese railroad worked on the Central Pacific.” His character will be significant to Cullen’s work, but he has a secret that he wants to keep.

Aside from that, there’s going to be more tension and action this upcoming season of Western television series as  Cullen looks for his wife Naomi and their child. Since he has moved to the West he is going to deal with Chinese workers, which is why there was a need to bring in new characters.

“Hell on Wheels” will premiere their first seven episodes this summer while their final seven remaining episodes will air next summer of 2016. So for the fans of the show, don’t get too sad because there is going to be quite a long time before you officially say goodbye to the show.
