After a month, “Hell on Wheels” Season 4 is back. In Episode 11 “Bleeding Kansas,” Cullen was trying to keep Snow alive to save Ruth, but did Snow survive? Read below for the full recap.
Ruth shot Snow, who was now battling for his life. Cullen was trying his best to keep Snow alive just so he can save Ruth. We saw a sudden flashback about Ruth’s childhood. She was the daughter of Rev. Nathaniel Cole who has killed several people, and Ruth witnessed most of it. Her father confronted her about what she witnessed, and Ruth reminded her father of the different passages in the Bible that don’t support violence. His father insisted that he did it all for the Lord, and Ruth took that seriously.
Now that Cullen has more power than ever, he asked Snow to be taken down to Maggie Palmer’s hotel. They can take care of him much better, and Eva and Louise were there to help out. They also asked for Durant’s help to get the bullets out of his body and to remove one of his legs without anesthesia.
Just as Mickey warned Campbell, a group of Irishmen arrived at Cheyenne to help him out and get his casino back. Shea, his cousin, was a very brave man. When they showed up at the casino to get it back, Campbell agreed to give the casino back to Mickey. Unfortunately, Shea wanted blood in his hands, especially when Mickey pointed one of Campbell’s men who beat him almost to death. Shea went out to get him, and he gouged his eyes.
Unfortunately, their fight for Snow’s life wasn’t successful because he died. They were all upset because they wanted him to live so Ruth would not be charged for his murder. However, since Snow’s dead, Ruth was sent to jail. It turned out that she was fine with it and showed no remorse.
