Developer Blizzard released on Monday a major “Heroes of the Storm” patch via the Public Testing Realm (PTR). Is there a new hero coming? Read on for more details.
Blizzard told “Heroes of the Storm” players that the patch is going to be available for playtesting for a week, ending on Aug. 17, 2015.
After that, Blizzard would then release an official patch.
“During this time, we kindly request your assistance in trying out some of the new content and balance changes it contains before we officially release the patch to the live version of Heroes next week,” Blizzard said in a statement.
Currently, the “Heroes of the Storm” playtesting patch brought various enhancements such as new hero Kharazim. It would be available for play during this period. The latest additional hero had traits such as Transcendence, Iron Fist, or Insight.
Kharazim also had basic skills such as Radiant Dash, enabling it to jump to a friend or an enemy. When it jumps to an opponent, it would immediately execute a Basic Attack.
Kharazim’s Deadly Reach could increase the attack speed and range of its basic attack by 100% for 2 seconds. Furthermore, it could also heal allies in close proximity via Breath of Heaven skill.
Kharazim also had heroic abilities such as Seven-Sided Strike and Divine Palm.
Other than Kharazim, Softpedia said, “Heroes of the Storm” would also include Rexxar the Warcraft fighter and Artanis from StarCraft. A StarCraft Medic was reportedly coming also in the game.
The patch also brought bug fixes on the Wonder Billie Mount, matchmade games that only began with less than 10 players, French AZERTY, keyboard problems, gamma change, visual effects, Kerrigan’s Ravage and Chen’s Flying Kick glitched abilities, improved game user interface, sounds, and others.
