Is Disney’s most-awaited installment to “High School Musical” finally happening after many rumors and reports surrounding the fourth installment to the franchise? Read on to learn more about this scoop.

“We’re All In This Together” is one of the hit songs from Disney’s “High School Musical.” Will HSM fans be finally able to see Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens back on screen as high school sweethearts, Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez?

A report came out on Radar Online, which claimed that Zac Efron is finally gearing up for a “career comeback” in “High School Musical 4.”

According to the outlet, the “Neighbors 2” star has “finally managed to clean up his act” and is now ready to reprise his role, which made him famous, in “High School Musical 4.”

“’High School Musical 4’ is much more than just an idea,” a source told the outlet.

There have been much speculations that the movie is set for a fourth installment, especially after most of its cast have expressed interest in doing a fourth “High School Musical.”

A report was even published on Ryan Seacrest’s website, which claimed that the fourth HSM will revolve around Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens wedding. The report back then, though, was only an April Fools joke.

It seems a bit off to note that the report published on Radar Online came out a day before April Fools, which led fans to wonder if there would really be a “High School Musical 4.”

Sadly, Gossip Cop refuted the report and said that there are still no talks on doing a “High School Musical 4” on Efron’s side.

Meanwhile, Efron’s ex-girlfriend and HSM co-star, Vanessa Hudgens spoke with NY Times and opened up about her relationship with the “Dirty Grandpa” star.

“I went through a phase when I was really mean because I was so fed up,” Hudgens revealed.

The “Gigi” star also admitted that she used to give “death stares” at ladies who would run after her then-boyfriend, but then, she realized that she should be nice because these people are the ones who support him and Efron.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens used to be called “Zanessa” by fans after the onscreen couple became lovers in real life in 2005. Their relationship ended in 2010.
