TV Series “Younger” is going to get into season 2 in January and Hilary Duff and the rest of the cast are busy promoting the show. Duff recently covered Fleetwood Mac’s “Little Lies” to promote the show.
So is Duff’s rendition worth a look see? Well, if you are the sort of person who thinks old rock is a gift from the gods and shouldn’t be tampered with, you might not like Duff’s version. For starters, the arrangement is completely different.
Billboard reports that Duff’s version is more beat heavy, making the track lean more towards dance-pop than rock in general. But it is catchy and danceable, and if you are just looking to unwind after a hard day, this version might be a good choice. Her breathy vocals are unobtrusive and blend well with the arrangement. The video is a montage of the show’s best moments.
“Younger” will go into season 2 in January. The show has been well-received by critics and has a 97% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The series is penned by Darren Star, who also wrote hit shows like, “Beverly Hills 90210” and the iconic “Sex and the City.” The screenplay is based on Pamela Redmond Satran’s novel of the same name. Season 2 will begin where Season 1 left off. Towards the end of season 1, protagonist Liza’s 26-year-old love interest finds out that she is forty and has a teenage daughter. He had previously assumed that Liza was in her twenties too.

Fashion and Style reports that the new show will focus on their relationship after the revelation. Also, Liza is going to get the attention of Charles, who like her, is in his mid 40’s and, therefore, is a more appropriate match.
The show will air Wednesdays at 9 p.m. Central Time and the one-hour premiere will air on Jan. 13 on TVLand.
