With two weeks into the season 5, we have just seen two episodes of the Showtime TV series “Homeland.” Will everything finally become stable for Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes)? Read on to get the answer.
Carrie works for a German billionaire philanthropist now, and having a better, family-friendly life in Berlin, reported The guardian.
According to E! News, “Homeland” viewers would believe that things have finally got better for Carrie, as she got a new lovely life with baby Frannie and a hunky boyfriend in Germany. In addition, she got a private sector job. However, there is no guarantee that her life is settled forever.
Spoilers of the TV series suggested that “Saul (Mandy Patinkin) might make Carrie as the next target on Quinn’s (Rupert Friend) hit list.” In the second episode titled “The Tradition of Hospitality” of “Homeland” season 5 that aired on October 11, Quinn’s handwriting was shaking before he could completely spell out M-A-T-H-I-S-O.
It seems that somebody at the CIA prefers to see Carrie dead. Will she be hit due to the bomb blasting at the refugee camp in Lebanon? On the other hand, is anybody else trying to wipe out Carrie?
Meredith Stiehm, the showrunner, revealed in March that Carrie and Quinn would take time to revert to the same connection they had during the season 4. Now, they have moved on with their own paths. She even said that she is excited to see what happens when Carrie and Quinn cross each other’s paths once again. However, we never thought that Carrie would be put into trouble when they crossed the paths again.
What do you think? Will Carrie’s life become stable, or will she be killed off? Come out with your thoughts in the comments section. Also, stay tuned to watch “Homeland” season 5 episode 3 title “Super Powers” that would air on October 18, on Showtime.
