Season 4 of American television drama series “House of Cards” has been officially announced by Netflix. The Canadian “Catwalk” actress Nava Campbell will be a new entry for the season. Beau Willimon will remain the in charge of writing of the series. Read on to find out more about the latest revelation of “House of Cards” Season 4.
According to Vinereport, Beau Willimon was completely new to writing when he got on board of the show. Apparently, he along with Robin Wright and Kevin Spacy developed the show in a novelistic manner. They all have successfully executed the show for three successful seasons and are all set for the next one.
Willimon mentioned that his team has effectively managed the challenges of writing and developing story. He added that Spacy and Wright perceived “House of Cards” not as a show but as a complete movie of 26 hours. The series will appear more like a novel to the audience.
The show runner further said that the combination of Netflix and “House of Cards” is more like perfect vehicle that has generated immense faith and trust in its viewers and fans worldwide.
The most challenging part of writing was to write the character of Doug Stamper, who is Frank Underwoods’ aide. The decision of killing Rachel was tough for the team to implement. This upcoming season is going to have a Neve Campbell as a new entry for the drama series.
Michael Kelly who is starred as Doug in the series, expressed his negative thoughts about some of his scene. Ultimately, Beau Willimon and the team decides to shoot the scene and edit them if they doesn’t like it at the end. Eventually, everyone liked it in the end.
