“House of Cards”, the playground for Kevin Spacey’s Frank Underwood, the 46th President of the United States is getting more and more updates as days pass. The fourth season in the series, which will be premiering next year, is already gaining momentum and rumors about new cast additions and key details refuse to die down.
According to Master Herald, the upcoming season’s filming has been underway for quite some time now and probably that is the reason why rumors about it are continuously piling on. However according to the media outlet, there’s one update that can be confirmed. This update being that the fourth season will be even more vicious than its predecessors. Top it up with Frank and his wife Claire’s wedding that will take a toll and eventually lead to the couple breaking it off completely.
If this wasn’t enough, it was reported earlier that Frank’s old associates would start to plot against him and try to overthrow him. The latest entrant in the list of Frank’s associates who will be turning against him is his own wife Claire, who will work towards reducing Frank’s credibility and will also reportedly run in an election against him.
Last time when Kate Mara’s character Zoe Barnes tried to expose what Frank was really upto, she met a tragic death. Whether Frank would generously extend the same courtesy to his almost estranged wife Claire remains to be seen. Being a conniving politician that he is, if Claire was to meet an end like Zoe, fans should not be surprised.
With Frank and Claire no more a power couple, fans will surely expect to see another couple in the rising. It is being rumored that the upcoming season could see Neve Campbell joining the cast of the show and could be the other half of the new power couple in the series. There are chances that Neve along with her partner will try to go head on with Frank and Claire, which until now sounds a bit difficult knowing the kind of man Frank is. Watch this space for more details on the show.
