Kevin Spacey’s Francis “Frank” Underwood is probably the most conniving and ruthless politician on TV that fans have loved. “House of Cards” has been an account of his stellar growth from a House Majority Whip to the 46th President of the United States. The fourth season that will be premiering next year has some new updates and rumors attached to it. Read on for more.
According to Gospel Herald, there are quite a few things that fans can expect from the upcoming fourth season. Firstly, Frank whose marriage with wife Claire was on the rocks especially when she walked out on him when he was preparing for his reelection as the President of the United States in the season three finale could be seen continuing. Though it is unclear what way will this keep on going but the estrangement this time around seems to be more serious. There are chances that the distance between both of them will keep on increasing as Frank prepares for a possible battle that is coming his way. A battle, where his former allies could turn against him. Second rumor suggests President Underwood’s loyal associate and Chief of Staff Doug Stamper could rejoin him. Chances are that he will no longer be an outsider ever since in the third season he redeems himself by recovering after an alcohol relapse, reconnecting with his brother and by murdering Rachel by the end of the season. With that, he surely gains Underwood’s confidence so that he can carry out more of his dirty work.
Final rumors hint at a new addition in the cast of the show. It is being reported that Neve Campbell known for her work in “Scream” could be joining Kevin Spacey’s President Underwood as one of the emerging and young power couple. Whatever the case be, it will surely be fun to see “House of Cards” back on for another season when it hits Netflix next year.
