How to Train Your Dragon 3

The third installment of the cartoon movie franchise, “How To Train Your Dragon” is going to have an emotionally satisfying ending but a tearjerker. Earlier the writer and director, Dean DeBlois revealed that the upcoming sequel, which is scheduled to be released in 2018, will focus more on Hiccup’s dragon, Toothless, as the movie will complete Hiccup’s coming of age.

However, some rumors surrounding the third sequel have been around these days. Read on to know more in details.

According to Latinos Health, “How To Train Your Dragon 3” will end where the book series began.

“We are gonna take the story to where the books begin, which is Hiccup as an adult reflecting back on a time where there were dragons, suggesting that the dragons will in some way go away. Why and could they come back and the mystery of what all that is will be saved for the actual story,” DeBlois said.

According to DeBlois, “How To Train Your Dragon 3” could have a tearjerking “Toy Story 3” plotline. The main themes of “Toy Story 3” was about becoming adult and get going to their own separate ways. The third sequel of DeBlois could depict Toothless and the dragons going away from each other. Alternatively, he said that the third sequel will show a glimpse of a new side of Drago Bludvist that was never been depicted in the previous sequels.

Another rumor is mainly for “How To Train Your Dragon” fans who had tremendously enjoyed actor Jay Baruchel’s voice for young Hiccup. It is said that since Hiccup will be presented as full grown up character, there could be a requirement of an older voice. If Baruchel fails to confront the challenge of representing an older voice, he might be replaced.

The most striking rumor is that the storyline of “How To Train Your Dragon 3” might be split into two, and there is open opportunity for another sequel – “How To Train Your Dragon 4” – in future. The reason is with the ending of the third sequel, Hiccup will be left with a lot of story to tell.
