Hugh Jackman is well-known for his undying dedication when it comes to being an actor. Being a multi-awarded Hollywood Walk of Famer and having a loving children and wife, what else can this man can’t do?
Well, according to his missus, Deborra-Lee Furness, there’s one thing the actor is restricted from…working with Brad Pitt’s wife, Angelina Jolie.
Though the couple has one of the most solid relationships in Hollywood, Furness is still fully aware of what could have happen if she let it slide through her hands. As an actress herself, she knows that it is part of the job-you are paid to kiss your co-star if needed-but when it comes to women who’s not allowed to kiss her husband, Jolie is on the top of the list.
In the couple’s interview in Australia’s The Today Show with host Lisa Wilkinson, Furness admitted that she told to Jackman’s agent that he’s not allowed to work with Angelina.
“I’m sure she’s very nice and I love what she’s doing – shining a light on awareness for adoption…” Furness said before adding “just kidding” about the said rule.
Meanwhile, being married for 19 years, the couple credits their strong marriage to putting their family first.
The 59-year-old Furness stated that: “…if you get it right, if you pick the right partner then you traverse all those travails and challenges.”
Jackman also added that his wife has a rule, never apart for more than two weeks.
“Deb had been on enough sets to see the pitfalls…it was my first job when we met, I didn’t know anything else but we’ve never been apart for more than two weeks. We’ve managed to keep that,” he said.
Deborra agreed to what her husband just said, saying that they don’t wanna be apart.”He tells really good jokes and I miss him.”
On the other hand, according to Metro, the couple also discussed in their interview about the “Adopt Change” created by Furness herself which aims to simplify the adoption process. The couple has two adopted children, Oscar and Ava.
