It seems that Wolverine is the character which is very dear to Hugh Jackman because wherever he goes he has some or the other things to be shared related to it. During the press day of his latest film “Pan,” the heartthrob of millions, Jackman revealed about what he and makers are planning for the Wolverine and stated that the upcoming film will first time showcase father-son relationship between Wolverine and Charles Xavier aka Professor X.
While talking to Collider’s Steve, Jackman said that he and the director James Mangold are working on the script for the third part of the claws man aka Wolverine series, and they have completed around 60 pages. He also said that this part will show more of an understanding relationship between Wolverine and Charles Xavier, who nurture his skills throughout the years. Though, till now no such elements are placed in the script related to this relationship, yet our newly popular pirate Blackbeard is very confident about bringing such elements.
“I think it’s a really important relationship but I want to see signs of that quasi-father/son sort of relationship that has not been seen before, and sides of particularly Professor X that have not been seen before. So we have some really, really cool ideas,” reported Collider as told by Jackman during the press day of his latest film, “Pan.”
To keep his fans wondering, the actor, who is also preparing for his live concert,, added that he will not say yes for the role till the time he will not get what he is expecting from the script because this is the last movie of the franchise and he wants it to be the best.
Jackman said, “I’m saying ‘but’ and I’m sounding a little cagey because this is the last time I’m playing him, and I have just made the commitment to myself, really, and told everyone that until that script is perfect, until it is that perfect way to sign out, I’m not gonna start shooting. So that’s why I don’t wanna say ‘Yes’ for sure, because until Page 115, 120, whatever it is…,” revealed Collider.
On the question of Australia as the place for the third installment’s shoot, “The Real Steel” fame star said that it is not decided yet but Australia could be considered. Whatever the current situation is, one thing is sure that if everything goes in the right direction then shooting for this Wolverine movie will start from next year and we will have our hero hitting the screens sometime in 2017 or 2018. Till then, all the best Wolverine!
