The flight of the much-anticipated film is about to take its course as Lionsgate’s “Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1” released more promotional images that showcase both familiar and unknown faces. Adding up to the hyped excitement, they have also revealed the official soundtrack of the film performed by Lorde. Read on to know more about this scoop.
The age of young adult (YA) has certainly dawned on humanity during this time of the decade as we were introduced to “The Maze Runner” just earlier this month and had previously caught on with “Divergent.” Both of which have made tremendous marks in the box office, but going back to the first YA dystopia film that really made it, the “Hunger Games” franchise has truly come a long way. Lionsgate has been making all the preparations in increasing the film’s anticipatory value with the recently released trailer. This time around, they are sharing new image stills of old and new characters who serve as allies to the Mockingjay. Much to the excitement of all “Hunger Games” fans, Lionsgate also revealed the official soundtrack of the film that is performed by none other than the eponymous songstress, Lorde, with the song title “Yellow Flicker Beat.”

Among the many characters image features are of Sam Claflin’s reprising Finnick Odair, Mahershala Ali’s Boggs, Elden Henson’s Pollux, Wes Chatham’s Castor, Jeffrey Wright’s Beetee, Stanley Tucci’s Caesar Flickerman and Natalie Dormer’s Cressida — as detailed by Coming Soon.net. There’re also seven more into the image sequences that offer very new faces that will bring forth additional excitement to the fan base.
With such images highlighting the faces of both old and new allies to the upcoming film, Lionsgate reveals the carrier soundtrack that is concentrated on the hero that is Katniss Everdeen. As Time disseminated the information in their feature, they quoted Lorde in her Tumblr page.
“It’s my first offering from what I hope will be a soundtrack you love. It’s my attempt at getting inside her head, Katniss’. I hope you like it.”
Screen Rant refreshed us over the storyline that “Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1″ will take place with Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) embracing her role as the ultimate symbol of the revolution. She stars in the filming propaganda in actual battlefields in order to bring inspiration to the rebel forces.
